DRINKING WATER PROBLEM CORRECTED
Customers of the Fall Creek Falls Utility District were notified on 13 May 2025 of a problem with our drinking water distribution and were advised to BOIL BEFORE USING. We are pleased to report that the problems have been corrected and that it is no longer necessary to BOIL BEFORE USING. We apologize for any inconvenience and truly thank you for your patience.
Our crews repaired numerous leaks, one very large leak throughout the system. These repairs allowed the system to build tank levels and restore pressure throughout. Lines have been flushed and tested; all tests proved negative in all bacteriological testing. These types of tests are routine to correct an issued Boil Water Notice; the negative test results show that no contaminants entered or remained in the water system.
As always, you may contact Monica Blankenship at 423-881-5065 or 27364 SR 30, Pikeville, TN 37367, or email at fcfud@bledsoe.net with any comments or questions.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.
This notice is being sent to you by the Fall Creek Falls Utility District.
