Subject: Temporary Water Service Interruption Due to Winter Storm January 28, 2026
We hope you are staying safe and warm during this winter weather. Due to the impacts of the recent winter storm, our water system has experienced frozen/burst meters and lines, the demand of residents flowing faucets, may result in a temporary interruption of water service in some areas.
Our crews are working diligently in challenging conditions to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. At this time, we estimate that repairs will be completed over the next few days, though this may change depending on weather, safety conditions, and water demand.
What you can do in the meantime:
Only run faucets at a very low flow, the size of a pencil point will keep the water moving to prevent freezing.
If you have stored water, use it sparingly for essential needs. Stay updated through our alerts at Home | Fall Creek Falls Utility District / Fall Creek Falls Utility District | Pikeville TN | Facebook / 423-881-5065.
Report any observed water flowing out of the ground, water meter boxes boiling up water or just a suspicious area please let the Utility know.
We understand how disruptive this is and appreciate your patience and understanding. Your safety and the safety of our employees is our top priority, and we will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Fall Creek Falls Utility District
