Subject: Important Notice Regarding Billing, Payment Responsibility, and Late Fees

Dear Valued Customer,

This letter is to remind all customers of the Fall Creek Falls Utility District that the utility is not responsible for delays in mail delivery. While billing statements are mailed as a courtesy, it remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure that payments are made on time, regardless of when the bill is received.

To help avoid late payments or service interruptions, we encourage customers to take advantage of the following convenient payment options:

  • Online Payments: Payments can be made securely at fcfud.myruralwater.com from the payment button on the home page.
  • ACH / Bank Draft: Customers may enroll in automatic bank draft (ACH). Drafts are processed through the banking system and withdrawn on the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, the draft will be processed on the last business day prior.

These options provide a reliable way to ensure your account remains current without dependence on mail delivery timelines.

Late Fee Policy

All bills are due by the due date indicated on your billing statement. Payments not received by this date will be considered past due and subject to applicable late fees.

Failure to receive a bill does not exempt the account holder from late fees or other penalties. Accounts remaining unpaid after the due date may incur additional charges and may be subject to further collection actions, including disconnection of service.

Customers are encouraged to contact the Utility prior to the due date if there are questions regarding billing or if payment arrangements are needed.

If you have questions, need assistance enrolling in ACH, or require help accessing online payment services, please contact our office at (423) 881-5065 or visit us at the address listed above.

We appreciate your cooperation and thank you for being a valued customer of the Fall Creek Falls Utility District.

Sincerely,

Thomas Champagne
District General Manager
